Business Alerts in GP allow for defining rules to check against and then automatically issues alerts and reporting when those conditions are met. This allows for not needing to closely monitor certain reports. For example, you may use Business Alerts to issue an alert when the bank information for a vendor has been changed or perhaps when the status type of a given work order in Field Service module is a certain value (perhaps a high priority status type of emergency of something to that effect) then alert a customer service manager so that they are aware of an emergency work order.
